Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2013 - 14 was held on August 24 in the school premises. The Investiture Ceremony commenced with a welcome song presented by the school choir. Chief Guest Brigadier A.K Adlakha, Captain Subodh from Second Girls Battallion NCC, School Vice Chairman Dr. V.B Agrawal and Manager Sh. Nanak Chand were the distinguished guests present on the occasion. The newly elected members of the student council were inducted with the presentation of badges by the esteemed Chief Guest Brigadier A. K Adlakha, Captain Subodh and other guests of honour. The appointment holders comprising the Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains and Vice Captains of six houses took the oath to fulfill their duties diligently and honestly. Chief Guest Brigadier A. K Adlakha delivered a thought provoking speech on leadership. A higher dimension was added to the occasion by students exhibiting their talents through spectacular dance performances. School Principal Mrs. Mala Sood congratulated the new members of the council and motivated them to uphold the DAVian ethos on every occasion by becoming a true leader. The programme concluded with an inspirational speech by School Vice- Chairman Dr. V.B Agrawal.
