With this thought the Interactors of Arvind Gupta DAV Centanary Public School, Model Town in association with the Rotary Club Of Delhi Metro visited an NGO run by Shri HariOm Sahoo in Pakistani Basti , Delhi on 25 October 2019 to celebrate the Festival of Lights and Joy with the underprivileged . The interactors in an earnest effort to bring joy in the lives of these children not only distributed sweet boxes , diyas and books but also spent time with them dancing and singing.
It was a pleasurable experience. we got an insight into what exactly happens at an NGO like this. The visit was a great experience. We often crib about smallest things in our lives. We should learn a lesson from them and how inspite of so many difficulties they still know how to turn their weaknesses into their biggest strengths.It was so soothing to see the bright and happy faces of the children and joy it was indeed.
We are very thankful to Shri Hari Om ji , Shri Raj Kumar Bhatia ji and Ms Jasmine Bhatia for providing us with this happy opportunity. We left the place with happiness in our hearts and a desire to visit again .
