Tittle : Breast Cancer Awareness

The Breast Cancer Awareness Month, marked in countries across the world every October, helps to increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection and treatment as well as palliative care of this disease. Breast cancer awareness is an effort to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of breast cancer through education on symptoms and treatment.The Interact club of Arvind Gupta DAV Centanary Public school in association with Rotary club of Delhi Metro organized a Breast Cancer Awareness camp for the school teachers on  5 November 2019.   
Dr Veda Padma Priya (Sr.  Consultant Breast Oncology) at Max hospital Pitampura and Shalimar bagh addressed the teachers and educated them about breast cancer. She stressed that the NEED OF THE HOUR is awareness about breast examination, beginning from 20 years of age, and regular screening from a qualified doctor, so that it can be detected early and treated successfully. 
"Early detection is the key to prevention."
