It is a well known fact that
?On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted
the Constitution of India, and it came into effect on 26 January 1950?.
In May 2015, the Government
of India declared 26 November as Constitution Day (National Law Day), also
known as Samvidhaan year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
To honour this day, Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary
Public School, celebrated 26th November 2019 as ?Samvidhaan Diwas? in the
school. A plethora of activities were organised in the school premises. A
morning assembly was organised to make the students aware about the importance
of the constitution and spread thoughts and ideas of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the
drafter of Indian constitution.
Sharp at 11 a.m. all the
students together recited the Preamble of India followed by a plethora of
activities like Preamble writing, pledge taking on being a good citizen etc. Teachers
of AGDAV School actively participated in the activity and guided the students
to follow the salient features of the preamble of India in its true spirit to
make India an excellent country to live in.
