Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary Public School, Northex, Model Town, Delhi- 9 celebrated International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2020 with great fervor and spirit through a novel way on virtual platform. School Principal Mrs. Mala Sood bestowed her best efforts to ensure the success of this International Day of Yoga ? YOGA AT HOME , YOGA WITH FAMILY. AGDAV staff members stood together in solidarity with the rest of the world by joining the harmonious performance of yoga from their homes. An online session was also organized on 20th June so as to bring in perfection and make the day a success. On 21st June all the staff members participated in the programme which was instructed and demonstrated by school?s Yoga Teachers Mr. Puneet Shukla & Ms. Sushma Nain. Teachers performed various postures along with them which brought synchronization. The teachers performed different ?Asanas? and also were made aware of its benefits. Keeping the theme in mind, everybody participated with complete zeal and enthusiasm in the programme along with their family members.The online sessions on both the days were conducted successfully by Mrs. Ruchi Chabbra , HOD Computer Department . The day was observed with the basic objective of beneficial effects of Meditation ,Relaxation and Rejuvenation of one?s mind .
