Indian proudly celebrates Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav
On
August 15, 1947, we made a tryst with destiny. So to commemorate 75 years of
India?s Independence Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary public School, Northex, Model
Town, organized a week long celebration in the school premises. The celebration
not only showcased the vibrant spirit of the young minds but also elicited the
feeling of immense joy coupled with a deep sense of unity, pride, freedom,
honour and patriotic fervour .
On
6th August 2022 , to mark the occasion ,the students of Arvind Gupta DAV
Centenary Public School,North Ex Model Town, Delhi ,tied rakhis which
symbolises the bond of trust love and gratitude to honour ?Desh Ke Prahari? and also to the parents of the school who are
serving in armed forces.
The
Students of AG DAV CP School , Model Town went on a patriotic spree again on
Monday ,the 8th of August 22. Eminent scientists from the esteemed DRDO
addressed the children of XI and XII class and made them aware about the
achievement and contribution of DIPAS ( Defence Institute of Physiology and
Allied Sciences) in strengthening the security cover of India. A PowerPoint
presentation and a video were shown to the children and they were motivated to
serve the country by choosing research as their career.
The
Nursery and Primary wings of AGDAV School also celebrated India?s 75th
Independence Day. A wide array of competitions and activities were being held on
August 12, 2022 to evoke a sense of patriotism towards their country.
The
day was filled with joy and excitement commenced with a special school Assembly,
which included patriotic songs, speeches, and dances by students of Pre-Primary
class. There was a great zeal of participation by students in various
activities, including fireless cooking, poster making, music and dance activity,
Taekwando with theme ?Our Country-Our Pride?. Many activities were held in
class 1 like Dance, Vyanjan Bahaar, National Ideogram Making, Clay Carving, role
play on Freedom Fighters.
The
staff members of the school also dressed in their perfect attire to depict the
spirit of patriotism and nationalism. The staff members truly upheld the symbol
of the unwavering spirit of the country?s unity and integrity throughout the
week. A special photo booth prepared by the nursery department was placed at
school?s reception for the students, staff and visitors to promote the campaign
of #HarGharTiranga. A special rally
was organized by the students to spread awareness about #HarGharTiranga on 12th August,2022.
A
special Morning Assembly was organized on 13th August, 2022 wherein
students held the National flag with pride symbolizing that every Indian has a
special bond with the Tiranga. The singing of patriotic songs and dances by the
staff members and the students filled the ambience of the school with a note of
patriotic feeling and duty towards their motherland. All the students geared up
with immense zeal and enthusiasm to celebrate the 75 years of our independence
and displayed their exuberance at its height.
The
celebration of 75th year of Independence was an immersive experience
felt by the students of AGDAV School wherein patriotic feelings were evoked
together with a sense of responsibility towards the nation.
