Enrichment activities in the
classroom offer an opportunity for hands on active learning. Enrichment
activities increases students interest in new subject area and foster a love of
learning. It is desirable as students retain more of the presented in formation
when they figure it out themselves. Keeping this in view an activity ? show ?n?
tell? was conducted with the students of
class IV (A-D) .This activity was correlated to one of the chapter of social
science . Students were told to bring the related material of their favorite
occupation and encouraged to speak few lines on it. All the students
participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The objective of the activity was
to expel the hesitation of the students and mould the learners in to a
confident human being.
