To fight
against corruption "TheVigilance Awareness Week" was observed in
the school from 22nd October to 1st November 2014. The
theme of observing the week was "Combating Corruption- Technology As An
Enabler" . A plethora of activities were organized during the week
reflecting the aforementioned theme.
in classes VI
to VIII a SloganWriting Competition was organized on the topic ?Root
out Corruption? before it roots in you. It was followed by a Debate
on the Topic "E-ticketing has been effective in reducing corruption from
booking system" .
In classes
IX and XAdv. Biraja Mahapatra the senior
Advocate in High Court delivered a lecture on the topic "How e-judiciary has
helped in making court proceedings more transparent".
In classes
XI and XII a debate was conducted on the topic ?E-governance a way to smooth
governance? in which students participated enthusiastically.
The above
mentioned activities created awareness about the role of technology in helping
to provide transparency, access and accountability at various levels which is
expected to help combat corruption
