The students
of A.G.D.A.V Centenary Public School went on a festive spree on the occasion of
Raksha Bandhan on 28.8.2015. In the morning a special assembly was conducted in
which young siblings tied Rakhi accompanied by the all the rituals of the
festival and sung festive songs and related poems. Later, they decorated
innovative thali?s using natural leaves, mirrors, beads, laces, giving a
glimpse of our traditions to young minds. The celebration brought an awareness
amongst the students about our culture and traditions.
