Swachhta Pakhwada

The Interact Club of AGDAV organised a plethora of competitions for classes VI to XII while the observation of 'Swachhta Pakhwada'
The day began with all the office bearers assembling in the AV room,from where all the directors were allocated inchargeship of a particular event
The first was an Art competition for the students of IV to VI. Director Dhairya Srivastava with his team organised this under the guidance of Mr.Shailendra. The competition was inter-class and paintings were evaluated by our school's art teachers Mrs. Shabana Begum and Mr. Shailendra.
Essay writing competition was conducted for VI and VII on the topic "Being green is staying clean" and "Clean and green is our perfect dream". Directors Madhu Yadav and Kajal Jha organised with teachers Mrs. Bhanu and Ms. Ekta. The winners were announced on that day only.
An inter-house debate competition on the topic "Mera sheher saaf ho, zimmedaari sabki aur sarkar ki" was organised for students of class IX and X was organised by our hindi department with the collaboration of interact club. Director Harsh Sharma alongwith Director Madhu hosted the debate. Mrs Sunita Sharma the judged the competition.Each orator presented his points very fairly. Himalaya house outshone and won the 1st prize.
An inter-class speech competition with the collaboration of our school's hindi department and interact club on the topic "Swachh Tan me hi swachh Mann ka vikas hota hai". Director Chirag Bhola hosted the show . Each contestant spoke well on the topic. The student's eyes were filled with motivation listening to these speakers.
Last was a quiz competition for the Biology students of class XI and XII conducted by Mrs Jyotideep Rana .On the whole it was a day filled with a lot of activities and learning.
