"Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life?.
To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, the investiture ceremony was held on 26/8/2017. The function was presided over by Dr.(Capt.) Sanjay Kumar, Associate Professor NCC, Mr Pradeep Shekhar, Assistant Commissioner Income Tax Department , Rot. Saroj Khanna ji, President Rotary Club Delhi Metro, Mr Tushar Wadhwa and Mr Karamveer Maan.The ceremony was held with lots of zeal and zest. It commenced with the DAV Gaan followed by scintillating performances by the students.
Dr.(Capt.) Sanjay Kumar, Sh S. R. Arora ji, Madam Mrs. Arora ji, Manager Sh. Nanak Chand ji, Rot. Dr Saroj Khanna ji alongwith our proud alumni Mr. Pradeep Shekhar, Mr. Tushar Wadhwa and Mr. Karamveer Maan gave the badges to the newly elected members of the student council. The student council took an oath to live upto the expectations and work in sync with the mission of the school.
Dignitaries congratulated the newly appointed prefects and appreciated the efforts taken by the school management for providing opportunities to the students. They emphasised on the importance of discipline,exhorted them to uphold the values- Respecting teachers and their Parents and threw light on the importance of leadership in life.
Winners of various competitions held at various levels were awarded by the guest. The function concluded with National Anthem.
