Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary Public
School celebrated "Incredible India Week" from 9-13 October, 2017. Various
activities were conducted to acquaint students about vivid cultural heritage of
India. Students of various classes participated in events like slogan writing
on Tux Paint. A small skit "Atithi Devo Bhav" was enacted in which students
were dressed as atithi from various states of India. They presented beautiful
attire and explained about centre of attraction of their respective states.
Students and teachers were mesmerized by the performances of little AGDAVian.
Videos related to best tourist places in India were shown to the students. They
enjoyed the activities and were eager to plan their visits to various parts of
India with their families.
The week was concluded with
assembly address of school Principal Mrs. Mala Sood, she motivated and encouraged
students by sharing her experience of visiting different states of India.
