School Events

Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary Public School in association with Arya Pradeshik Pratinidhi Upsabha organized Maharishi Dayanand Janma and Vasantotsava, a victorious celebrations in the name of the acknowledged personality on 22 January 2018 in the school premises with immense sincerity and devotion. Swami Dayanand Saraswati was an important Hindu religious scholar reformer and the founder of Arya Samaj. This is a is a day of celebration and joy for everyone, especially those who remember him and his contributions to the society.

Ekadash Kundiye Yagya was organized in which all the students from PS to XI sat around the Kunds along with their respective class teachers. Children whole heartedly performed the Yajnas.

Adorned with flowers and saffron flags, the school held pious look. The chanting of the mantras filled the ambience of the school with purity and sincerity of purpose.  After the completion of the Hawan students were called class wise for Prasad. A perfect blend of discipline and uniformity was well exhibited by the children when they sat down for the Prasad distribution.

The Prasad was also distributed among the under privilege children in the neighbouring area of the school by school students.

A collective effort displayed by the children and the staff members of Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary Public School marked the conclusion of the day. Children not only went back to their homes with an enlightened mind but were also enriched with wisdom of knowledge laid down by the Arya Samaj. As true DAVians they surely can shine in society.
