69th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur on 25th January 2018. Event started with recitation of DAV Gaan. The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to uphold the honour, integrity, diversity and uniqueness of their motherland -India?.
The choir presented a patriotic song followed by a stupendous dance performance by the students of classes 5th & 6th.The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers were spell binding.Then there were speakers who through their speeches invoked the precious contribution of great freedom fighters which was followed by National Anthem.
School Principal Mrs. Mala Sood discussed the values and ideals enshrined in the preamble of Indian Constitution with the students and staff members. This was followed by a class discussion where in the students were asked to express their views on the measures that can be taken to bring Harmony and Safety in the society.
